Its a bit hard to tell how bright yours actually are due to the strobing effect of the camera.

1) I used the adapter harness method
2) They are US-spec lamps (I appreciate that they lightly smoked the orange reflectors on this version, btw; although I would've preferred the clears)

The J Blades are very bright in the garage with the garage lights on (low beams off) and very bright with the low beams on at night. During daytime driving, I can still see them reflecting off of the car in front of me if we're close. But if you get out and look at them from the front, they just don't seem to be as bright as they should be or as bright as other XJs I've seen.

My question is since the headlights do not appear to have been opened up, are all the required modifications done by rearranging the pins in the plug or is there something else involved.
Hey, can you send me their contact info? I'd love to just have a plug & play solution, and are comfortable shipping to the US. I'm new here so I can't message you, so if you can message me you can email me at mark@sixwonsix.com Thanks!

Has anybody had any battery issues after installing the new headlights? I started getting the Low Battery warning semi-frequently after installation in December and its progressively gotten worse. My battery voltage is reading 12.2 in the off state so its definitely getting low. Before I just put in a new battery, I'm wondering if there's some possibility of a parasitic draw somewhere in the lights or harness, or is it just a timing coincidence?

No. I have had them on my 2014 XJR for over a year now with the same battery the whole time. Only the 2 small issues noted above.

The J-blades are a bit dimmer than on the factory installed LED's during the day.
If the car is turned off with the bright lights on. You will get an adaptive headlight error light on the dash on the next start. This goes away by turning the car off and restarting.
Just don't shut it down with the brights on again.

So probably just battery time.

I am unsure about other markets.
Anyone know what the difference is with the US spec part numbers that end with a "C" instead of a "B" like posted above?

RH = Right Hand Drive as light pattern is configured for countries like to UK. LH = Left Hand Drive is what is used in the US where we the driver sits in the left front seat.

I'm aware of that. I'm finding US spec headlights that have part numbers that end with "C" instead of "B" such as FW93-13W029-BC. The part numbers listed in the previous post end with "B" (FW93-13W029-BB). Is there a difference in the specs between the two are is it just the next iteration of the lights?

I just bought a pair of headlights from Sam in the UK and will be replacing my 2013 model soon. Hopefully they will fully function.

Just got this pair!

Good day Benny -
Just wanted to know the place you buy the headlights.
Please do me a favor by sending the address of the vendor who is dealing in jaguar Parts.

Hi SRK, the guy's name is Sam. I contacted him on his mobile via Whatsapp all along. You can reach him on the following numbers: 07929373008 or 07879345666.

When I bought it, he told me that is the last pair available in the UK. You may try to ask him again.

Hope this helps.

So do the dimmer J DLR lights and (for some people) non-working cornering lights have an updated fix...?

I assume you put a 2016+ tail light into a 2010-2015 XJ...?

I am looking to do the opposite - put a 2010-2015 tail light into a 2016 XJ...

That's true. The pinout is the same, fairly confident it would work but I can't say I've tried it.

Could you please PM me the name of the dealer you used for the retrofit taillights. I already have the headlights done and now need to finish the back. Thank you.
