Default 2016 X351 Retrofit Adaptive Cruise, help needed

As the title says, I’ve retro fitted Adaptive Cruise Control to my 2016 X351. In saying I’ve fitted it, I’ve put all the parts on that after some searching I’ve been advised I need:
Grille - C2D43030
Grille badge - C2D35915
Module - FPLA-9G768-AC
Bracket - C2D49967
Screw - C2D5586
Steering wheel switch C2D47180

With the help of one of my mates, we have accessed the SDD by getting a Passcode for the SDD to get into engineering mode.

We have changed the Speed Control parameter to show “Adaptive Cruise, Stop & Go”

However my cruise still only works as normal cruise and doesn’t show any different images I’d expect to see for setting the distance etc.

Has anyone else successfully completed this mod, and if so what parameters did you change and also was there anything else that physically needs changed that I’ve missed?

I have been advised the 2016 model should be one of the easier ones to do this to, as the earlier ones need the ABS module to be changed out too.

Can't be of much help as your beyond me but I think you need to look at the CCF. Do you know what that is and how to modify it? Just be careful as your very deep into the car and mistakes can happen in a blink of an eye.

Hi Glenn - have you sent a direct message to xDave? (I would try both here and in the UK). I think he has more or less retired from the fora, but he just may reply to a DM.

Hi Chris, I have done, I sent him a few emails, but think he may have decided I’ve used my quota lol.

The information I have so far was gleaned from his posts on the various forums and that’s what made me decide to make the move on it. (Been wanting to add ACC since I got it)

All parts are now fitted but the big and I mean big stumbling block is the CCF.
I can get access to it in engineering mode, but there is a lot of parameters that seem to relate to ACC so it’s knowing what ones to change.

Yes the CCF is the key but as you found it is complicated and it never seems to be just one change either?
Yes if anyone knows it would be Xdave as I am pretty sure he did that on one or more of his XJ's.

I’ve been emailing David, but he may either be on holiday or I’ve used up my quota of questions. lol (don’t blame him, he probably gets bombarded!)

My other option would be if someone has a 2016/17 with ACC as standard that could film the summary of their CCF they could share, that way I could try mirroring their configs.

If someone with 2016/17 ACC isn’t too far away was happy with it I could even travel with SDD to read only their settings.

500 miles isn't that far - you're welcome in Gosport any time!

... but mine - as you are well aware - is a 2018.

Cheers Chris, as you say it’s “only 500 miles” I’m sure I could go 500 more just to see the cruise light glow…. 🤣🤣

As a follow up I’ve almost cracked it. I think I’ve got all the required parameters changed to what they should be. I just have an issue with the calibration.
Long story short John had things to do so when we finished setting up the ACC I tried to do the calibration with my Autel MK808, but that has set me back a bit.
With more help from John I should hopefully sort it this weekend.

Once I know it’s all up and running I have a full write up ready to go in my notes app that I’ll post up for anyone else that wants to try.
