Just picked a 2013 5.0 Supercharged of course day 3 of ownership I've got a dash light indicating adaptive headlight fault. I've searched the forum doesn't seem to be much information.

 

Fired it up again and the error is gone. Time will tell...

 

If the battery was not replaced prior to the sale then I would just go ahead and replace it now.

When mine needed replacing I was getting all sorts of intermittent errors with headlights, blind spots, etc. Since replacing the battery it is all gone. My failing battery was reporting 12.1 standing volts.

Hi, I had the same problem on a 2015 XJR, the dealer said it needs a software upgrade, they upgraded the software and since that time no warning message.
