Default Adaptive headlight fault

Any help greatly received. I have a 2006 xk150. The adaptive headlight warning is flashing. When I put my headlights on either auto or manual and turn the car sharp right the headlights turn off and on a couple of times, a bit freely when driving through town . Was The local garage plugged the car in and the fault they could find was the drivers side headlight had a fault on the sensor controlling the cornering light !

is this a separate sensor I can replace, or is it the headlight module needs changing, Will a new headlight solve the problem ? I do not particularly want to take the car to a jaguar dealership . Thanks in advance

The sensor is separate and will cost a helluva lot less than buying a replacement headlight.

Should be all covered in this thread

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...module-167610/

however my suggestions is to swap left to right side over to see if it is actually 100% faulty first
