Hi all,
Have a 2011 XJL Supercharged. Air Con blowing cold on driver side. Warm on Passenfer side and rear.I tried searching for this same problem in the forums but only thing that came back was for S-Types. hopefully someone can help me with the part.
In the other threads regarding S-Types, and on Youtube, they talk about the Duel Climate Control Valve and some call it the Heater Control Valve. I do not see any info on the XJ Supercharged DCCV or HCV.

I have tried the suggestions on the other threads about lowering the temp to LO and turning off the A/C and raising the temperature.
Can someone tell me the location of the DCCV/HCV? I also am having difficulty finding the part!

Been known that failed auxilary heater might confuse the LIN bus where the climate controlling actuators are controlled. Solution are to disconnect auxilary heater from LIN bus (its last node on network) or replace it. (or the controll PCB, since remowing complete heater will need dismantle of dash) Access to the auxilary heater and its connectors are in driver footwell (left driven vehicles) Note: Just removing the power feed from the heater do not help. Must disconnect the small LIN network connector.

 

Vasara I think that is only for Diesel versions?
The gas engines don't have an AUX heater?
