I ask this because I want opinions. I own a LS460 - no complaints, excellent car, reliable, top notch dealer service.

I really like the new XJ so any comments from former LS460 owners will be appreciated.

Actually not me but a good friend left Lexus for the Jag. He loves it over the LExus.

 

I just made the switch. Judging by the lack of responses in this thread I'm guessing it might not happen very often as these are two different animals and Lexus owners are pretty loyal......

 

I made the switch and was very happy to do it. The new LS 460 2013 has basically the same engine as the lexus LS 460 2007 model with improved navigation system and improved interior but is no near the supercharged version. I am also impressed with the luxury feeling of the Jaguar vs. the Lexus. The Jaguar makes more noise but the upgraded audio system is better than the Lexus mark levinson especially with gd radio. The maintenance is also free vs. Lexusnwho charges for everything. I am happy I changed brand!

I switch from the 2007 ls460L to XJL SC,and all I can say is the jaguar is hands down!! You get both worlds Luxury and Sport and you want go wrong with the JAGUAR XJ..

 

As a matter of fact, only around 100 LS-460 cars were sold in the UK last year. It seems to have almost dropped out of site in our market place.
Mind you, I don't see too many new XJs either ! (seeing more from mid-2012)
