Anyone here in the Rochester, NY area....
....and happen to purchase a 2016 XJ-L from the CarMax agency, about 2 months ago? If so, I'm curious why they appear to have it back, and are now showing it for sale, again.
I was always curious about what happened to that car. We really liked it, and took excellent care of it. We had an issue occur with the dealer, but it had nothing to do with the car. I'd rather not go into it, other than to say that it annoyed my wife to the point that she decided that we would never have anything to do with them, ever again, and we sold the car to CarMax, as they made us a decent offer. This was in early March of this year. They listed the car on their site, and several days later, it was gone, so I assumed that it was sold.
I don't know what came over me, but yesterday evening, while "surfing the net", it suddenly struck me to browse the CarMax site again, and sure enough, the car was listed again. This listing showed that it now had 19,000 miles on it, 3000 more than when we sold it to them, and they were now asking $2000 less than before. Now, the story gets even weirder, as I got nosy, again, and checked the CarMax site a few minutes ago, and the car is again gone. However, it does show up on the 'Credit One' site (yeah, the credit card company), as well as a site called "BadVIN"......
