...is removable without taking out the whole dash, or removing everything underneath it to get access? Talking about the separate top piece that covers clock/air vents, need to remove mine to repair the leather cover.
It looks like this top piece is only held down with 4 screws in the front. The question is whether or not you can get to those 4 screws by just removing the infotainment unit, or if you have to remove the whole dash top to get to them. I can't tell from the limited pictures I have found online. The infotainment brackets may be in the way.
Krgeraci, if you are talking about the leather lifting off of the backing, people having gotten their hands on a small hyperdermic needle and put some glue inside. You can then stick the needle through the leather, get the glue on the backside and then you simply need to use some round cans or possibly 2 pieces of formed wood to push down and force the leather against the backing again. From there, you let the glue dry and you should be good to go. The needle will make very small holes that will cover themselves up once all is pressed into place.
