Default Audio/Video Inactive

Hello, this morning i had to jump start my car. After doing it i found that audio video section is inactive, also backup camera doesnt show anything, also when i lock the car mirrors wont fold. I suspected that some fuse has blown, but i checked all of them TWICE. In the boot, in the interior and under the hood. All fuses are good. I guess it must be some infotainment block faulty. Any ideas?

Try locking the car from outside by double clicking the button in the door handle and hearing a chirp. Let the car stand for a minute and then open the door. This should reset *** many of the electrical components.

I would try a new battery next. Do you know why your old one went flat?

Maybe it's time for a replacement?

If it still has the original battery, it's way past time for replacement. Serlock's Personal Profile shows that he has a 2011 XJ. Make sure to get the proper AGM battery.

are you in VALET mode?

otherwise, between the rest arm on the back seat, you have a big fuse box. maybe check if it is all OK.

if nothing bad, Disconnect the battery in the trunk, wait a few minutes ( important) and reconnect the battery, all should reset. ( don't close the trunk door while battery disconnected )
