Hi all. The catch that holds the “tv dinner” tray up has gotten slack. How does it get removed from the seat back? I removed the one screw that is visible but it is still solidly in place. Perhaps the trim pry tools? XJL 2011

It’s been a while since I’ve removed the rear seat tray table, but going from memory, I think that that part is held only by that single screw. You may have to gently pry behind it once that screw is removed. Be careful not to damage the leather. If you just so happen to damage that part, they are sold individually on EBay. I broke one of mine by screwing it back in too tight and the plastic cracked. Hope this helps.

 

Thank you for the insight, I did end up prying it out with a plastic trim tool. Now waiting for the new one from eBay to arrive. Will be cautious when tightening the screw.
