battery is totally dead..

battery is totally dead..

can't get into the glove box to get the manual to figure out how to open the trunk to jump the car...help!

If you can get into the car, open the hood and connect a power source to a positive post on a fuse box.
Alternatively, do you not have a key entry in one of the trunk badges.

Unlike your XK (X150), the XJ (X351) does not have a hidden slot for a mechanical key to open the trunk lid. Thank you, factory engineers, for a truly dumb decision in what is otherwise a brilliant design.
