Default Best place to get "always on" power in trunk ?

I have a trunk project that I want to power with the key off. I want some tech outlets to charge my gadgets. I originally did this to my XK8 a few years ago.

I am still learning about the electronics in this new-fangled XJL and want to make sure I get the power from the right place.

Is there a spot in the RHS fuse panel I should use? Just go direct to the battery? What's best?

I found this where Tom did it to his XJ about a year ago. But no specifics on the connection choices.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Yeah I am going to follow the guide Jaguar published for their battery charger outlet.

Just gotta put the right connectors on the end of my harness now.

I used the same connection method Jaguar recommends from the aux power document. Positive fused to the battery, ground on the body post.
