I can verify that the supercharger coupler will do that to the s/c snout without the stop-start system. Snout & coupler replacement is best.

I got the green solid coupler on already. Bearings appear good and the green coupler doesn’t even touch the damaged area. It grabs at the fingers of the hubs. SC turns ok a little resistance from the tight tolerances on the lobes. I’m used to non TVS Eatons resistance witch turns very freely. The TVS feels like it has more resistance. Similar to my Whipple and the Kenne Bell which are twin screws and are very tight and hard to turn by hand, this is on my other cars.

Sounds good. Yes, the spring coupler is probably the biggest issue (spring wears into the metal). I presume you purchased the green oil-filled coupler, which is reported to be much better. Glad you got it taken care of.

All the best.

Yup, But If it’s filed I would not have known it. It’s hard Delrin like plastic. IDK. Fluid flush also pending. The GM vendor shipped but FedEx is doing loops with it in the truck.

Great pictures!
Really shows the improved smooth seams on the plastic parts.

I don't understand how the coupler can be oil filled nylon?
Never heard of that description before.
