Default Coolant pipe popped off - am I missing a clamp/connector?

Hey all,

I just had a lot of maintenance and preventive work done to my XJ including re-doing all the plastic pipes and hoses attributed to the cooling system (Including changing out the water pump as a just in case). After some spirited driving, I got the dreaded "Coolant Level Low" warning, and thought it was an off sensor since the coolant temperature was still running fine on my OBDII bluetooth reader. Knowing how these cars are, I pulled off the highway and thats when the smoke started. I got it under the elevated highway and discovered that this piece that splits off a Y connector simply just popped out, and proceeded to spew all the coolant in the system over the hot engine. It's currently zip-tied up and holding fine (Minus spirited driving), but I'm wondering, is there something that normally holds these on?

Hey you-
Well yeah there is a piece that keeps it together.
Apparently whoever installed your new hoses left it off though.

It's part of the hose - detachable for installing/detaching the hose, but part of it.

If you're trying to read the script on the pic, it says NORMA PA6-GF50
