Default How full should the coolant reservoir be??

Hi All,

I recently had my coolant system flushed and refilled with fresh coolant. On my way home I got the coolant level low warning on the dash. I turned around and had them top up the coolant and get the air bubble out. The system was maintaining temp.

I checked the reservoir one more time this morning and was scratching my head on how far it should be filled.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

To the top of the resivior (or bottom of neck).

Turn car / engine on, resivior top off, squeeze upper heater hose to burp it.

Don't forget to run heater on hottest temp for a few minutes after engine warmed up.

Engine should be running to "burp" the cooling system?

From the 2001 Vehicle Care Handbook:

If you don't have the handbooks, they are available for (free) download as PDF's from here:
