Default Coolant temperature sensor 2 code?

I just picked up a 2012 xjl portfolio (5.0 N/A), and I absolutely love it. But, I got in it this morning to go to work, and I have a check engine light. I pulled the code and it says “coolant temperature sensor 2 fault” as a permanent code, any help would be nice, like where to find one, or how to replace it. Also, the dealer I bought the car from did the timing chains, guides, and tensioners, and this code showed up 2 days after I finally took delivery, so it’s the first time it’s really been driven since they did that work, any chance it’s related so they can replace it for me? Thank you!

I had an indy Jag specialist do the front end of my 2012 5.0 s/c motor in October, and had the same thing happen. A few days after picking up the car, it threw P0128 and P2183 codes (Engine coolant temperature sensor 2). I also noticed that the live temp (on my scanner) was a bit cooler than it was in the past (180 vs 192) . I asked the mechanic (I didn't want to take it back since he is 1:15 away) and suggested the thermostat was sticking open. Maybe some debris entered the cooling system when it was opened? Replaced the thermostat/housing unit with a new OEM (about an hour and less than $100.00) and it has not come back since.

First, thank you for the quick response! im at work and this is stressing me out a little bit since its the weekend and wanted to take it out with all my friends for the first time since i took delivery. On the topic of codes, i only have 1 code, P2183, with the description "Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 2 Circut Range/ Performance", not the P0128. Do you think it could still be the thermostat without that code?

The P0128 was a "Coolant below temperature". Not sure where you are located, but I am north of Chicago, and it was December, so coolant below temperature was no surprise. No guarantee, but that was what Mike at Eurotoys suggested, and it I have not seen the codes come back yet after replacing it.
