cup holder slider

Default cup holder slider
the chrome piece came off when i tried to close the slider. can i use any type of glue to stick it back cause there is fabric underneath that supposedly attach to this piece

Same thing happened to mine. I used a small amount of clear epoxy to fix it.

Mine came off too and used superglue almost a year ago and still is working.
