Default cup holder

Hi folks...I am currently in possesion of a 96 VDP with a broken cup holder. Is there a fix for these things or do we just have to live with them being so fragile.Mine is still able to be folded back into the arm rest ,but pops out VERY easy.

THE hinge pins are probobly broken, you can either 1 screw some small black hinges like Jag supplier did for awhile, or buy a new 1 for $60-70 and install it yourself

The cupholders were updated to a 'piano hinge' style, those don't break. Last time I checked they were more like $90.00 and on backorder. I have a good used later style cupholder with bulletin showing installation instructions, $50.00. PM me if you're interested.
