Default Exhaust tips - does anyone have pics?

I'm considering the quad exhaust tips option on my XJ, but have yet to actually see the on a car. Does anyone have a pic try could post? Any feedback on the pedal kit as well?

I've seen that, but I don't believe that's the tailpipe finisher offered by Jaguar. I think that's an aftermarket rendering...not the actual one from Jag.

I believe that is correct - the ones the dealer had were different from what's in the above picture. However, they told me there have been fitment issues and are not selling or recommending the tailpipe finisher at this time.

I installed tailpipe finishers and had a little trouble. Resolved problem easily by NOT installing the washer spacer. Outlets are even and look very sporty. I am a novice at the use of the forum ie. I have NO idea how to post a photo of the finished install. Any help w/ this and I will post the pics.
Don't be deterred in trying to install them yourself. EASY to do. No jack needed.Exhaust tips - does anyone have pics?-img_0787.jpg

That looks pretty good, and is the first one I've seen on an actual XJ. I don't recall the dealer telling me how much these cost because they weren't selling them when I picked up my car in August.

If your dealer is like mine, full retail is $625+. If you go thru Nalley Jaguar (in Atlanta) it is $510 w/ free shipping and NO tax. This is a Jaguar forum dealer and gives 15% discount and free shipping to Jaguar forum members. Ask for Dan or Steve they are very helpful and quite willing to advise on Jag Stuff. # for parts is 1-800-846-0030. It took me aprox 10-15 minutes per side. They actually slip over existing chrome extension. Also, they are the same exact part and part # as the XF's exhaust accessory.

Wow... that's pricey either way but a good discount through Nalley. Thanks for the info.

At this point you will not find it for any less. Also, if a jaguar XJL is in your budget what's $500. For you and I, I'm sure that is just walking around money. ie. Don't let that stop you if it's what you like and/or want.

not the cash it is the principle. Should something like this cost so much or is it gouging? You be the judge.

I wish they made quad round pipes like the Mercedes AMG's and BMW M's, but that would have required new tailpipes, not just a slip-over cover. Looks good, though.

Your right about the rounded style. I never thought about that style, good idea. I think the multiple exhaust outlet add ons gives the car a slightly wider look. And in answer to cost, it does let those that know how expensive they are, I probably have more dollars then sense. (ha ha).

MB doesn't use rounded pipes any longer. They went to a new design for 2011 of the AMG S class. I agree that the quad exhaust gives the car a wider look, and certainly a more aggressive stance from the back. I'll post pics once I have mine installed.

Thanks for the tip ... installed mine this morning, easy, peasy, without that washer spacer. They either need to include slightly longer attaching screws or delete those washers from the kit.

Here are some photos of the exhaust tips installed on my 2013 SuperSport/Speed. I installed them myself by loosening the factory tip and then installing the new tip with all the included parts and then used a wrench to the attach the assembled exhaust tip.
