Getting access to passenger fuse box
I'm removing my injectors. To depressurize the system (car has been sitting for a few days, but I want to be safe) the service manual says to remove the fuse for the fuel pump relay. That's in the passenger compartment fuse box.
How do I get to that? I have a 2011 model so I don't get the flap on the center rear console. The seat removal instructions I found don't seem to apply to me either.

Remove the 30 amp fuse, number 19 from the luggage compartment fuse box. Check your Owner's Manual for the correct location of the fuel pump fuse.
Prior to any disassembly, start the vehicle and let it run until it stalls.

My car manual (2011 My) says F19 in the luggage compartment is a 10A fuse for the drivers seat lumbar
Fuel pump relay is supposed to be F18 in the Passenger Compartment, behind the rear seats I cant figure out how to remove.
Can I disable the fuel pump in SDD?

OK never mind, I carefully cut away at the cloth in the center armrest slot with an exacto knife. Several layers later, I'm at the fuse box which the fuse I need. It patches up nicely and now I have a fuse box access that the later models had.
Silvertones, were you on the facebook group earlier as I answered exactly the same question earlier on there ??

Not to resurrect an ancient thread here, but surprisingly to me you seem to be the only person who has even mentioned this on all of the Internet. I am in the same boat. A 2011 XJL and it seems during this time, there was no forethought and the access to the fuse box is behind stitched cloth. If you remember, can you elaborate a little more on what you did here? How did you go about cutting it? What about reattaching it? I asked a question myself on here for a fresh response but saw that you had the same challenge a few years ago and figured I'd ask. Thanks!

I answered this many many years ago on a jaguar forum online, and also a facebook group as well, in 2011 I had the same issue with my 9 month old car, I was in France at the time and I blew the fuse on the accessory ( cigar lighter ) socket, ( a dodgy phone charger ) I phoned my dealer at home and asked how to access it and the technician mentioned to cut the foam carefully with a craft knife, apparently on later models they did leave an access through the foam. I did it and never actually needed access again.
I have a 2015 model now but have not had cause to look to see on this one.
