Glutton for Punishment
After 15 years in a 1999 XJR, I finally sold the beast and am in the market for another set of wheels. Being a glutton for punishment, I am in process of picking up a 2011 XJL SuperSport.
Southern car has had all the electronic bugs and water pump issues replaced, and am taking a gamble the gremlins are now gone. Hard to pass up 650+HP (after ECU Tune and pulley update) with all leather interior including headliners - less than 60k miles for under $23k (including tune/pulley update).

Actually, the previous owner(s) was the glutton for punishment. You are the beneficiary of the (mostly) undeserved reputation of Jaguar unreliability spread by people who never owned, drove, or ridden in a late model Jaguar XJ.
The Jaguar X351 XJ is a very reliable vehicle if you don't count the water pump, chain tensioners, roof rattles, plastic coolant lines, sticky buttons, and electrical gremlins. That's know as British charm and character.
I have not experienced all of those problems, and still love my XJ.
