I think meth is the best solution.
Unfortunately all positive displacement supercharged engines heat soak. All the cooling system modding just prolongs it a bit. Water/meth, nitrous or chiller systems are the only way to really get control of it. I agree that meth is the best solution for DI engines not just for the added power and temp drops but also for the benefit of keeping the intake runners and valves clean.

Has anyone found the limits of these transmission yet? Making the power is the easy part. Getting the transmission to hold it and put it to the ground without breaking is the weak link.

Not sure of the HP, I think it is in the 650hp range, but I know the max torque is 516 foot pounds.

Good question as well as what is the limit of the stock coils? This is my first Jag project so I'm researching to learn where the limits are that will hinder upgrades. I know in the Ford, Dodge, GM communities that the stock injectors and coils are typically good to around 900HP. Given that a lot of the parts on this engine are from Ford I'm "assuming" this engine is capable of the same. During R&D it was tested to 850HP so I expect that the stock injectors and coils are good to that point.

There are a couple of vendors out there building the 8HP70's and 90's for the Dodge community to handle 1000+HP. I suspect I'll end up giving them a call in the future.

Anyone have any before and after dyno numbers to compare to say if any of these mods actually lived up to their claims?

The injectors on my 2010 XJL s/c are Bosch part # 0 261 500 298. They are rated:

1050cc/min = 718g/min = 66lb/hr @ 100bar

Dont know if that helps.
