Default Heater matrix flush or removal?

Hi all!

I have a right-hand drive 3.0 diesel xjl, 2012.

The air con works correctly on the passenger side but won't get cool on driver's.
I've checked gas, that looks OK. From what I've seen, that probably leaves blocked matrix, stuck baffles or issues with the computer.

So I want to flush the heater matrix.. any suggestions on doing this in the car?
otherwise any instructions on how to get to and remove the thing? I assume it'll be buried somewhere behind the dash...

Thank you

You can but that's not been reported?
I would get a dealer to scan the car as I think you have one or more blend door problems. Note these most likely won't show up on most scanners so you need a Jaguar specific one.
These cars are too complicated to just start doing repairs. You really need to let the car guide you to the problems.

The heater matrix has nothing to do with lack of cooling, (obviously !).

Is there not an aircon heat exchanger within the heater matrix (or very close to it). My brothers XJ has a refrigerant leak and the Jaguar dealership (in Crewe ironically) couldnt find it and said it was most likely in the heater matrix and it was a dashboard out job. Unfortunately he never got it booked in quickly and his warranty expired and they wouldnt honour it which is very poor. Ive just actually posted a thread trying to locate the charge points on the XJ as im using it whilst he has his Chemotherapy and its just to hot in the car without aircon.
