Hi guys,

My female accomplice is looking for a '16 or '17 AWD XJL. She'd prefer the L, but would take the shorter one if the right car came up. I'm helping her look, but am having a hard time judging what options the car came with by the pictures in the various ads I'm seeing.

She wants cooled seats and adaptive cruise control. I've been able to determine that if it has ACC, there's that black shiny rectangle around the badge in the grill (if pictures of the buttons on the wheel are not taken), but as for the cooled seats, is there any way to tell? Do all Portfolios have cooled seats? Also... Does the R Sport offer both cooled seats and adaptive cruise? I'm presuming the R Sport is not offered in the L? Did the V6 cars ever come with massaging seats, or do you have to step up to the V8 for that?

I believe front seats come heated/cooled/massage as standard (both V6 and V8)
4-zone air package has rear heated/cooled...............which comes standard with the L (both V6 and V8)

 

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like the seats aren't a question as long as it's an L, and we'll just have to look for the radar unit behind the badge to confirm it has ACC.
