Looking to buy but PCM was reset. Problem?
First of all as a newbie on here thank you ALL for the help and advice on my previous questions about purchasing a 2015 XJL. I think I've found a vehicle I like. The pricing seems good, maybe a couple thousand below others but it has all the bells and whistles and its from a dealer and certified pre owned. .The thing that I was concerned about is that at 6,600 miles (according to CarFax) It says Tire condition and pressure checked/PCM reprogrammed.
I guess I'm wondering why the PCM would be reprogrammed?
The only other thing that I wonder about is at the most recent service it says "Wheels repaired." Not sure what that means. Could it be something as simple as a flat tire? Or is Wheels referring to the actual wheel not the tire?
Anyway i know there is no guarantees when purchasing a vehicle. It's just that I really am pretty dumb when it comes to cars and the PCM thing caught my eye. I do like this car, and will test drive it tomorrow I hope.
Thanks for your continued help. This forum has been an amazing wealth of information and comfort.

Check it out with the dealer, but probably a wheel or wheels got bent and had to be repaired or replaced. By doing so you have to to reset the tire pressure monitoring system. I don't think it is anything major but before spending your money I would get it figured out.
Wheel repair is common and typically cosmetic in nature. "Curb rash," as it's called, on these low profile wheels and tires easily happens just by brushing a curb. The tire affords no protection for the wheel. I was super annoyed the first time I was careless parking. $150 to get a wheel fixed and repainted around here. So, that's my take on the wheel repair comment.
Thanks for this. Upon checking with the dealer that's what it turned out to be.
