2016 XJL closest Petrol stations. How do I change it to gasoline? Also no voice commands for Navagation and blue tooth constantly drops calls. Just took it to dealer and no better. Sixth Jaguar and we are really disappointed.

 

Billsblue, you can try this to get the radio changed over. After starting the car, look in the upper left corner of the radio screen. You should see a button there labeled "VALET". Place your finger on that button and hold it there for about 10 seconds. You should see the screen change once you enter the programming mode of the radio. If you look through the options, one of them as I recall is to change the language of the radio. You are fairly safe in this mode other than there is one button that you will want to avoid. It will talk about updating the software of the radio. This is a 2 step process, so, even if you hit the first button, you have to hit a second button that says to start the update.

As for updating the instrument cluster, You should be able to do this by pressing the right arrow button on the right side of the steering wheel. If you look on the instrument cluster, you will see a menu show up. Scroll down and there should be a few options for changing how the instrument cluster looks and what it will tell you. The main thing you want to do is enter this menu area with the engine off (ie, get in car, leave foot off of the brake, momentarily press the START button, this will bring up the electronics of the car, but leave the engine off). By entering the menu area with the engine off, it will expand what is available.

 

I just got a 2016 XJL as well. had the issue of the voice command on navigation not working. looked it up on google and it worked. change the language on the language menu and try again then change it back to what you want it to be. we had been playing with the accent settings and it caused a bug to happen. once we changed the language and then changed it back all worked fine. hope this helps!
