Default How do you use the whitefire headphones?

I have a 2010 XJ with front dual view only (no RSE), the roof pod transmitter between the rear mirrrors and a set of whitefire headphones that came with the car. I don't appear to have any instructions for operating them in my owners manual and as they needed new batteries I never got round to testing them. Now I have replaced the batteries and can turn the headphone on and get an audible chirp when pressing the change channel button. I can't figure out how to get anything playing out of them though.

Do they only work when a DVD is playing and dual view is active, or do they work with just the radio playing? I'd like to allow the passenger to listen to the radio while I have peace and quiet.

xdave, check out this: http://www.meridian-audio.info/publi...%5B4100%5D.pdf

I don't know how useful it may be, but it should answer a lot of your questions on what it will and will not do.

Thanks, that ws an interesting read.

I had another play today and I am fairly sure they only work with video sources, not the radio, but I haven't tested with streaming from USB or BT yet.
