Hello Jag friends!

something has broken or come loose inside the front passenger seat in my 2011 XJL near or just behind the picnic table. It constantly rattles and is driving me crazy.

does anyone know how to remove the seat backs so I get inside the back of the front seat?

attached is a video of the rattle and no it’s not a coin or something that fell inside. I’m the only person who drives the car and I don’t have kids.

The XJ seat construction is similar to the XF. I hope to perform the filter replacement soon, and will report any differences I find. Take a look at this post:
