95 xjs with memory seat. Having a problem with the drivers seat for the past couple of months. The seat has functioned in the past. The seat will not move all the way forward. I hear the relays click but the seat will only go so far. It goes all the way back just fine. I ruled out the seat control module. I want to remove the seat, but I can not get to the rear hold down bolts since the seat will not go far enough forward. I have had the seat out before . Help. Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks

 

is there by chance some grit or something in the tracks, maybe try some contact cleaner on the plug ins, and graphite on the tracks

 

It appears it is hanging up somewhere. I finally got it to go all the way forward by lifting on the bar at the back of the seat cushion while operating the seat fore/aft button. I will look at is more closely after I remove the seat. What a relief.
