The Leather on My Dashboard Has Started Its Retreat
Former FL car, so it was to be expected. It's not terrible yet, but I can now see a gap between the dashboard edge and the leather.
I conditioned it very well. I understand a refit is the eventual outcome. Anything else I can do to slow this process?

Forum member tberg (Ted) has the inexpensive solution. Read his posts in this thread (link below) from the X150 Forum (2007-2015 XK/XKR). A trim shop may be able to repair your leather dash at a small fraction of the cost to replace it. Simply anchor the dash leather to the front edge with staples after re-gluing it and cover the staples with welting.

This is a very common problem and there are lots of threads on the X150 Forum. One Forum member had his dashboard leather repaired while his cracked windshield was being replaced, since the dashboard edge was accessible and the entire dashboard didn't have to be removed. Quick, easy, and cheap.

I feel like the hole is a connecting point that got pulled out with the pullback. The car was a Florida car, before me. Perhaps the prior owner was careless about it siting in direct sunlight.
