Now I found a great thread on installing these little guys and it took a bit of fiddling to release the tab on the stock light but in the end it was simple and quick after you mess with it a bit!
Attached is a bit from the workshop manual as a picture is worth a thousand words. There is a small access window at the bottom of the mirror if you tilt the glass up and back so you can see it. Read the directions in the above thread and I purchase and used the great little tool called a chip lifter to release the tab and get the stock lights out.
It's a Wiha 26810 - Chip Lifter. A little screw driver looking tool with the perfect curved end to get in and release the light tab.
It's under $10 and can be found everywhere on EBay and Amazon.
So the entire project was right at $25 cheap when your in the Jaguar world for sure!!
