Talking Maroa wheel, fake or not?

Hi guys,

I purchased used wheels with known repair history a few days ago, the name is MAROA.

I found something unusual, take a closer look at this.

This is big debate among my friends. Yes, fake or not... The seller says it's not a fake product and I want to believe him, too. This wheel is definitely a Jaguar wheel. However, there is only a Land Rover.

The other Maroa has the Jaguar logo. 2012 is a very long time ago, is there any Jaguar wheels produced at similar time that have a Land Rover rather than a Jaguar like in my case?
This wheel was never marketed for Land Rover or others

Many Thanks,
KIM

More likely JLR sourced from different wheel manufacturers in Asia.

Thanks for your interest.

This wheel were made by SUPERALLOY in Taiwan at 2012. They are an authorized OEM manufacturer of JLR and are very well known for their forged wheel production. I'm very wonder, why laser engraving is weird that only LANDROVER is stamped on JAGUAR wheels. 2012 MAROA was only used on the "XJ, ULTIMATE EDITION". It's the ultimate XJ of Jaguar. A simple mistake by SUPERALLOY? Do you think jaguar didn't know about this? If there's nothing wrong with this wheel, it's one of a kind. hahahaha...

Best regards,
KIM

Would seem strange to counterfeit this uncommon wheel. It's a lot of effort for a very small market.

It's probably a mistake. SuperAlloy is a reputable forged alloy maker and is known for white label production of OEM JLR wheels.

If it feels light I would apply with confidence.

Thanks guys,
I became convinced that this wheel was not fake that they did not have an "OffSet","Size" and "forged".
Many Thanks,
KIM
