Default My 2012 has Landed!

Just got the call from my dealer. My 2012 XJL SC is here! I'll pick it up on Saturday. Hopefully the roof issues will be resolved. I'll post pictures and a full report. Can't wait.

Picked up the car today. I am thrilled with the azurite blue, london tan color combination. Also love the satin elm wood trim. No noticeable changes from 2011. Early reports on 2012 said that Jaguar was making a smaller key fob. Unfortunately that hasn't happened. It's the same size as the 2011's. Car is solid and quiet. No roof noise, or any other squeaks or rattles.

Bottom line for me: This car has it all. Best combination of performance and handling, luxury, and beautiful design.

Here are some pics:

My second comment because I can't help it. That Azurite Blue is absolutely beautiful! I wish I had gotten that instead of the Ebony. I hope you gave a good tip to whoever detailed your car!

P.S. Now all you need is the tailpipe finishers!

Thanks for your comments. I love dark metallic blue cars, but it has to be a certain shade. Indigo blue was a nice color, but it didn't quite do it for me. Luckily, my dealer had an azurite blue XF in stock before I ordered my car, so I could make sure it was what I wanted.

Spectacular

Exactly what I'd go for if I had it to do all over again.

Nice car and color! Did you get the windows tinted by the dealer?

What a great colour. Love it.

Pretty impressive line up you have there, including your entrance.
