Nice car. Hope you have a good experience with it. My car is the previous model. Yours has the same suspension except the front springs are coil, rather than air like my car.

I love the black XJL; such a beautiful car. Did you get the NA or the supercharged variant?

Mine is a 3L but it is fast to be honest I had Audi A8 before and the Jaguar is a lot faster. Love this car but there some faults, unfortunately.
1. Front roof blind is not working I can only hear lound noise from the motors.
2. Air con is not working.
3. There is a problem with back doors handle locks. Front ones are open normally but the back ones stay in the same posision when I try to lock or unlock the car.
4. Tyre pressure monitoring system faults.

Will do cambelt and oil- filters service on Monday and my mechanics will try to sort out the air con but have no idea how to fix the rest at the moment.

Hi bro,
you have the standard fails on your car.
A/C pump (I've changed it on my XJ at 65000km)
Roof blind motors (already not changed on my XJ due to high costs)
I suppose you also have sticky buttons... welcome in the Jag fail paradise!

Hi Sandro. I spoke to you on Youtube couple day ago about the sunroof blinds. I will leave it like you said, high costs.

There was a TSB regarding the door handles. This may be your issue

I wonder if you have selected the button at the bottom of the driver's door window switch that makes the rear door locks inactive for child safety

How about the child lock selector on each rear door interior panel at the rear just under the notch for the strike to go when closed. It's recessed and can be turned with either a key or flat blade screwdriver.

I've checked this also and there is not child lock active. I have no idea what's wrong. Thanks for any help

What exactly is the problem with your door locks? "Staying in the same position" doesn't really describe a problem.

When I pressing the unlock button on my remote key only driver and passenger door is open- the front ones. The back door stay locked, the lock button from inside (which is located on the top of the handle) do not move. When I pulling this button using my finger and then locking the car from my key the back doors stay unlocked.

This one

What is it that indicates it's a diesel??? The instrument panel?

If they sold a diesel 3.0 in the USA, I'd have bought one. Seems like an ideal long range capable car with some real grunt.
