1 Will the climate seat stay on everytime I drive the car, or do I have to reset them each time I start the car?

2 Will the key fob start the car? Florida Sun is not fun!

3 Is HD radio free?

4 With the phone, can I just say a contact name and it will dial it, without going through a bunch of prompts?

5 What is the coolest exterior mod to do to a white XJL?

1. Seat reverts to off on restart.
2. No remote start available.
3. HD is free
4. I don't use voice commands
5. Keep it clean and waxed, it doesn't need anything more IMHO.

 

4: The voice command goes something like:
<push voice button>
Say "Phone dial name"
<computer prompts you to say a name>
Say "John Smith"
<computer attempts to match, displays one or more matches>
Say "One"
<computer dials>

5: Low-profile machine gun turret on the roof...

 

You can also short cut the voice commands and say in one go "Phone Call Contact <name> mobile (or home)". I do find that it helps if I pause and speak slowly, so:
Phone...Call Contact...John Smith...Mobile

 

Odd, the message seats will stay on between start ups but not the more important A/C seats.
