Default Oil meter reads zero

Sonny_tmcf
I just dropped 2k on various things.. including an oil change.

Im not getting an oil pressure indicator warning

I am however reading engine oil not detected when i go thru the menu settings

Internet says , this is not to worry me? That i have oil ?

The only you tube video i saw on how to check the oil level, showed the guy experiencing the same thing.. he said run it 15 minutes and check..still nothing...

Help

Here is both the owners manual oil checking procedure and a "live" way of checking oil level so you can see what you add.

Silly question... but the hood literally needs to be open ?

Yes the hood needs to be open when doing only the "live" procedure as it is how a technician can verify the oil level when doing an oil change. I know my tech uses this procedure to verify the oil is at the proper level when he is doing an oil change.

You just need to pull the Bonnet release, that gives a Hood Open signal.
