I did a code check since it’s a regular occurrence now that my XJ gets the restricted performance message.
Has anybody gotten this code before and would fuel additive help since it has to do with the fuel injector? I have never used fuel additive on my XJ 3.0 diesel and it has only rolled 47000 miles since new (2011).
From what I understand this code comes from replacing fuel injectors with the wrong calibration? This calibration is a number printed on the outside of the injectors.
Has any of the injectors been replaced or worked on?
If they have been replaced this calibration number should have been entered into the PCM and the glow plug module. How? I don't know but think in SDD there will be a place to do this?
Has the car been reprogrammed? As this can remove or make the calibration invalid.

I haven’t heard anything about replaced injectors. All services have been made at the same Jaguar dealership and its been 12 months since last time. The restricted performance started March 1st suddenly a few seconds after starting the engine.
Might need to remove an injector and see what the numbers are? This is a wild guess as you have a very rare code and I have not run across it before? I think it's a Diesel only code too.
