Looks very nice, but make sure it fits your driveway as its a long-wheel base version. These are a big car ! I had a test drive a few years ago on a normal wheelbase car, and I have to say there are some car parks I would not want to take it to.

 

Hi Fraser , I have the same car only mine is in odyssey metalico red with cream interior , Yes a very big car as I know but very luxurious, ideal if you only do shortish journeys as no Dpf system and no trouble with turbos or throttle bodies etc that seem to blight the diesel versions of the facelift xj , and with the supercharged engine very smooth and Fast if you want it to be . This car won't be on the market for long

 

I'd love to have one. I used to have the previous model which I liked a lot, except for its tendency to wear out certain suspension bushes very fast, plus the all-air suspension which is a major problem once the cars get a few years on them. The X351s only have air springs on the rear, so not so bad. The air spring units are seriously expensive ! On a coil set-up, if the coil breaks you just replace it, and any jobbing garage can do it. Not so with air springs.

 

Thanks Fraser , a fantastic car to be sure , very smooth to drive with power to get you out off trouble or into it lol , i had this mine tuned from the standard 340 bhp to 400 , it can fly i tell you , but mostly used for lazy driving in luxurious comfort , yes i know the older xj had a lot of suspension issues the x351 dont in comparison apart from the thing you have pointed out . but to me i only keep my cars for 3 years , but might keep this one longer

 

Enjoy it while you have it ! At the moment, my XE serves all my needs, although now I've got the Merc SLK we seem to go out in that a lot, and tootling around town is for the New Beetle. My MG TF doesn't get used much now, I only did 900 miles in it from the last MOT to this one.
