Phone Bluetooth Connection

Phone Bluetooth Connection
Hi All, Newcomer to this forum and after some advice. I recently lost phone connectivity to the multimedia unit. The Phone connection button on the touch screen is greyed out. Is there a separate Bluetooth connectivity module on the X351 like I believe is in the XF (under the Passenger's seat) or is this integrated into the Multimedia unit itself. Ive had to revert back to using headphones for phone calls in the car.
Any help or suggestions on what to check would be greatly appreciated.

You won't get any help unless we know what you're driving - year, model, engine, etc. You have no signature and your Public Profile says nothing.
Maybe the solution to your problem is as simple as this. Most cars keep Bluetooth and USB simultaneously connected, and you select which one you want to use. But not the Jag. So, if you have anything plugged into the USB port, such as a phone charger, your Bluetooth is disconnected and the screen symbol is greyed out. Unplug your USB charger or buy a phone charger that plus into the cigarette lighter/12V socket.
