This has been happening for quite some time on my 2016 XJL and I'm not sure if I accidentally activated a security feature or if there's some issue with my driver side door.

If I unlock the car with my key fob, I'm not able to get into the driver side door without having the key in hand. All the other doors work. I tested it today by unlocking the car, putting my key fob on the passenger side seat and then tried opening all the doors. Everything opened except for the driver side door. As soon as I pick up the key, the driver side door opens.

Not sure it it's related, but I also have an issue where I do have the key fob in hand and sometimes the driver side door doesn't open on the first attempt. I have to try again and then the door opens.

Has anyone encountered something like this before? I'm pretty certain that in the past if the car was unlocked I would be able to get in it without having the key on me.
