Hello '11 XJ owners,

I would like to know if this car has:

- Automatic door close (the 'suck in' feature merc and lexus has);

- Rear recliner seats on any of the versions, at least as an optional package;

- Electric sun shades;

- Tire pressure monitoring system;

- Heated steering wheel;


Yes or no on these? Thanks!!

 

Soft-close doors - Not available. It's my only real complaint...wish it had them.
Rear reclining seats - Not available.
Electric sunshades - yes, I have it on my supersport. Side shades are manual...same as MB and BMW.
TPMS - Yes.
Heated steering wheel - Yes

 

The TPMS will not give you a readout of the actual pressures in each individual tire--it only gives you a warning when the pressure is low, but it does show a graphic of which tire it is. Heck, even my Kawasaki shows individual tire pressures--how difficult would it have been to incorporate this?

 

That's a good question. My LS460 has PSI numbers for all 5 tires, but it doesn't tell which one is which so that's a flaw too.

It's nice that the Jag at least has some kind of indicator. Thanks both of you for the quick replies!
