Radiator replacement
Good afternoon,
I own a 2014 xjl 5.0 supercharged and have gone through the necessary trouble of replacing my water pump and all of the plastic cooling parts known to go bad. Not fun but not too bad.
short story:after replacing everything I still had a leak and not wanting to guess I took car to dealership to diagnose a leak and they said it was my radiator. Surprised but glad I didn’t have to remove my supercharger, I ordered a new one.
when searching for the procedure I could only find older models replacing it.
Has anyone replaced their radiator? If so will I need to discharge my AC? Is it a straight forward procedure? Any help would be greatly appreciate.
Thanks

I replaced the radiator in my '97 X300. The a/c condenser is bolted in front of the radiator. This has been the case in every car I've worked on. The radiator should lift out from behind, but leave it to Jag to do something different. You shouldn't have to disconnect your a/c lines.
