In the attached photos you can see the rear vanity mirror in my 2016 XJL, pulled down out of the headliner. I need to replace it. How does the electrical connector come apart? I can wiggle each half against each other, so they aren't bound up. But despite my tugging I can't get them apart. I've tried squeezing and prying various things, thinking that may release something but it doesn't. It's as though some special tool is required. It's maddening, it doesn't need to be this complicated.
