Removal of passenger visor warning label.
The Jaguar XJ interior is very impressive, except, at least on U.S. models, their is a rather ugly warning label on the passenger side sun visor regarding proper use of child seats. While I'm sure these labels, like those on hammers, ladders, and other everyday devices, provide some sort of legal protection from lawsuits by irresponsible people, I find them totally offensive. So,has anyone come up with a way to remove this label and leave the visor without evidense of its former ugly existence?
So far my research on my 11 XJL SC, my Range Rovers, my Former Mercedes and all others on many boards made me conclude that it is impossible. I agree, it is offensive and hideous.Only thin I could think off is getting a sun visor part from Europe or another place not having that label and replace the visor.
I do not know if it will be the same on an X351, but Lifter 1 Carpet Stain Remover totally dissolves them on the X100: Lifter1- Retail Locations
It will initally run the ink, but do not panic and keep repeating it with clean towels until it totally disappears. It actually is quite amazing.
