repost. hey guys!
Hey guys! I've been spying at this forum for a while now, and decided to make an account now so I can get some of your knowledge. As time went by i started to really think about buying a CPO 11' XJ. Currently i own a 07' Lexus LS460 fully loaded. I live in New York, Queens area to be exact. The Lexus is quite reliable and nice car but, i need a change in my life. So the question is. How has your relationship been with the big kitty? Is there anything specific i should look for when purchasing one? How about the reliability? Ive been doing a fair amount of research, and most of the sites I looked at have been a bit harsh on the car. So hopefully "fingers crossed" this future XJ owner would like to ask current owners; How much do you love the car?
P.S. If i buy the car Im planing to keep it for a few years.
In advance thank you so much for the feed back!

Hi Luki,
I used to have a 2007 XJ that served me well up to 77k and then I got a great deal on a 2012 XJ SC and have not looked back. I now have had it for two full years and have 30k on it and aside from the annual trips to the dealership for the scheduled maintenance I have not been back. It is an amazing car and it keeps surprising me with how solid it is. My son and I attended a dealer sponsored track event a few months ago and we ran it in shifts around the track for a full tank of gas without a problem. It gave me a new appreciation for a car that could be driven hard for half the day and then give a nice sedate ride home. I would say go with it and be aware it is a much sportier car than the Lexus so it will seem a little rougher around the edges but you can drive the daylights out of it.
Have fun.
