Default Resale Price of XJ D 2015 or Newer ?

Following on from my post regarding my experience of the need of early oil changes on my XJ 2017 (Euro 6) Diesel and the response on other Forums that this was less to do with my driving style and more to do to the architecture of the engine/DPF location.

I would be grateful for comments on :

Assuming that if I continue to use my iCarsoft scanner to monitor the level of oil dilution and have early oil changes before the 7% contamination level - the risk to the engine is small ?

Also as I don't plan to change my XJ ( which I love) for a petrol version in the short term - as the motor trade becomes aware of the need for early oil changes on 2015 or newer (Euro 6) XJ Diesels will the resale price be adversely affected ?

Interestingly, looking at Autotrader in the UK, both Independent Dealers and Jaguar Dealerships do not appear to be discounting these models. Also there is only one comment on oil dilution on the Honest John Used Car Review on the XJ and no comment at all on the issue on the What Car or Parkers Used Car Reviews - in fact they recommend the 3.0 diesel engine !

Thanks
