Which engine? Lots of threads about tune and pulley mods on this forum and the XF and XK/XKR forums, as Jaguar used the same NA and SC engines in different models. Various tuners world-wide. Learn how to use the Search function - many questions have already been asked and answered.

I have the 3.0D x351 Jaguar xj Portfolio. Could not find many forums on the XJ being remapped and DPF delete.

Its the same V6 engine as in the XF, I have not had my XJ done yet but I got my XF mapped from a place in Fordhouses, do not delete the DPF new MOT test later this year will detect its missing and auto fail

I have not done a tune, but if i were to I'd use either Velocity or ETG as they have a great track record here on the forum and they are sponsors. If you research the F Type forum as they seem to be the ones that always want more performance and they have several owners that have had catastrophic consequences. I haven't seen any issues with the two tuners I mentioned IMHO.

My XJ has 110,000 in the clock and i think a remap will give it a new life. The reason im thinking aboutthe DPF delete is due to issues DPF FULL every month, ive tried the moterway and it clears it for a bit.

Hi Robert,

The OP's XJ is a 3.0L diesel. I may be mistaken, but I think neither Velocity AP nor ETG offer tunes for diesel engines. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

DPF delete is illegal. With the ever-increasing focus on diesel pollution you may want to stay on the right side of the law.
