Default Running Stock Pulley W/ Tune

Whats up everyone,

I am currently running my stock pulley with my ETG tune. Would it be fine to drive spiritedly with this setup? Will the ECU adapt to the stock pulley? Just waiting to have my pulley installed again. The car feels fine under partial throttle, but at around 5000 RPM, it kind of falls off on power so I let off. Any thoughts?

As long as the CEL is not coming on, then you should be fine. If things are getting detrimental to the engine, the CEL should come on.

How many miles have you driven since it was installed? The ECU will make adjustments for the tune and also how hard you drive. So use hard it for the next 100 miles or so and see how it feels then.

Also, use dynamic as it tightens up the dampers and makes the throttle more aggressive. And if you really want performance, shift to S mode on the tranny and it will keep revs held higher in auto mode and not shift for you in manual mode.

Enjoy!

Just took out the car today and I did a pull in 6th gear and a "Restricted Performance indication popped up and the supercharger shut off. I scaned the car and it said bank 1 fuel rail too low or somethin like that. P0089

I erased the code and the car runs fine now. I think I really need to get that pulley back on my car.

If the fuel rail is getting too low, that is telling me that your fuel pump is not capable of moving as much fuel as the motor needs. You may need to look into what it would take to get a higher volume fuel pump into the car.

Maybe the ECU thinks that its running a higher boost pulley with the stock pulley on and is trying to adapt. I dunno

Maybe ECU Tuning Group can chime in and help.

When I was looking into an ECU Tune, Jags did indicate that the "file" was different for a tune with a pulley and without a pulley.

So I just got a retune from Velocity AP as well reverted back to my stock intake tubes, the car still has a hard time revving under full throttle. I got the P0089 Fuel rail pressure too low again. What do you guys think is going on with my car?

This happened, after the dealer replaced my supercharger. Never had the hesitation with my old blower on the car. I will be calling the dealer to today to try and set up an appointment.
