Sirius - Low Quality

Hi,

I have a brand new XJL, and I am very unhappy with thequality of my Sirius music. The musicsounds compressed (I would compare it to a 64 kb/s bitrate for those whounderstand); however, my signal is strong and all other music sources areplaying just fine. I spoke to Siriustech support but they did not find any issues on their end.

Does anyone know what may be causing this? I hear Sirius playing in my friends’ cars(Audis, MB, etc.) and the music sounds fantastic.

Sirius sounds great in my car...no problem to report regardless of source.

Sirius always sounds like crap. It is very compressed and it has never sounded good on any car I've had that had it.

I won't use Serius as the sound quality and programming offered in streaming Pandora is way more to my liking and paying $39/ye for no commercials easily trumps Satellite for me.
