I have read some on here about the solid oil-filled nylon supercharger isolator for the 5.0 engine. However, it clearly says that 3.0 Petrol engines require a different part. I found this on Amazon as an alternative to the spring isolator. Has anyone done this modification on the 3.0?
Hi , we're did you read on here that they are "different " I really can't see this being true as they more or less the same engine and the solid plastic one that you show is used on both the 3 litre and 5 litre f type cars same engine as the xj
Actually I went to buy this one getting ready for a SC snout swap this spring. But the item description from multiple sellers says that the darker green with raised circles is only for 5.0 engines.

I have made a new thread on the Ftype section for you as I know a few with both the 3 and 5 litre engines have changed this out , so you should get a few replies regarding which is the best isolater to use , have a look over their in next few days , George
